Chiropractic Care
Thank you, Rhode Island!
Meet Dr. Abby
Hello! I want to share with you the story of how I became a Doctor of Chiropractic. In my early twenties, I was deciding what my mission in life was going to be. I knew I wanted to be a healer.
One fateful day, I decided to visit a Chiropractic office for help with some back pain. After a few visits, my pain was gone.
But guess what?
Anxiety I had been struggling with diminished and became easier to handle. I experienced a sense of calm in my body that I'd never experienced before. I also noticed greater clarity of mind.
And this from Chiropractic! I was hooked and I never looked back.
Now, I enjoy the immeasurable honor of helping people in the way that I was once helped. We all live in the "box" of our experiences. It's easy to believe that the amount of pain we're in, the exhaustion that we struggle with, the anxious minds that don't seem to ever stop running...that this is it, boxed in and limited in our ability to express life.
You are capable of so much! I promise. Someone once helped me learn how to live bigger. Now, let me help you.
I can't wait to serve you.
Dr. Abby
What makes me different?
By the time patients visit me in my office for the first time, they are often frustrated...by their bodies, by the lack of answers they've been given, by the overwhelming feeling that they've been reduced to a list of symptoms, instead of a person with a unique story.
Has the state of your health been getting in the way of your ability to live the life you want to live? Perhaps it's pain, or stress, an inability to concentrate, poor sleep, or a temper that seems to flare up in a moment.
I hear you.
I hear YOU.
I hear you, and your body has been trying its best to help you deal with increased and constant demands.
Now it's asking for help. Together, we will find what YOUR body needs to heal and function optimally.
Here's what I know:
A nervous system that is free of interference affords you the BEST CHANCE POSSIBLE to not just live, but to THRIVE!
Sound good?
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a drug-free and non-surgical health science that seeks to detect and remove vertebral subluxation.
Vertebral subluxation?
The nervous system, controlled by the brain, is the master controller of every single structure and function of your body. Any interference to, or pressure on your nervous system impedes your ability to heal and regulate properly. That pressure on a nerve is subluxation. Once that pressure is removed, your brain can once again communicate properly with your body, and the healing can begin.
Let's get started!
I do everything possible to ensure that your first visit to the office will be a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
Before you arrive, please fill out your new patient paperwork, which will be emailed to you promptly after scheduling your appointment.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to your first appointment to ensure that all paperwork is in good order. Your first appointment will take no longer than 45 minutes. The first thing we will do together is go through your paperwork in detail, so that I have as accurate a picture as possible of your concerns, your history, and your hopes for the future.
Then, we will proceed with your physical assessment. I will assess your range of motion, your posture, your weight bearing, the pliability of the spine, the tonicity of spinal musculature, and the presence of any spinal cord tension.
Before you leave, I will schedule you for a follow-up appointment. At this visit, I will have a detailed report for you, and we will discuss whether or not Chiropractic care may be a good option for you.
What is an adjustment like?Adjustments are extremely gentle and effective. You may be surprised at how little can do so much!

"Chiropractic has quickly become a staple in my self-care routine and journey to wellness. Dr. Abby works to connect my mind with my body and has identified problems that I was unaware I was experiencing. I've lived with chronic pain and knotting in my upper right shoulder and now have relief that I didn't know was possible."
